Since its founding in 2000, the Drug Policy Alliance (DPA) has worked nationally to end the war on drugs, advance policies and attitudes that best reduce the harms of drug misuse and prohibition and promote the sovereignty of individuals over their minds and bodies. Following DPA’s successful campaign in NY to legalize marijuana, this grant supports DPA in its statewide efforts to eliminate criminal penalties for drug use and possession and scale up health and harm reduction services for those who need them.
