A network of local agencies in rural, eastern North Carolina that prevent and mitigate the impacts of childhood trauma using a multigenerational, community-based approach. Funded as part of The Tow Foundation Innovation Fund, this grant provides general operating support for the North Carolina Community Action Alliance and its NC HEAL program. NC HEAL stands for Halt the cycle, Educate all, Address the trauma and Learn resilience.
