Project M.O.R.E.
Grants Awarded
New Haven Reentry Welcome Center
Project M.O.R.E. (Model Offender Reintegration Experience, Inc.) was established in 1974 to help men and women incarcerated in CT prisons successfully transition home to New Haven. Project M.O.R.E. operates several halfway houses, a women’s reporting center and a residential program for those who violate probation orders. This grant provides support for its newest program, the New Haven Reentry Welcome Center, which provides counseling, employment assistance and other services designed to meet the complex needs of men and women on probation, on parole or returning home from prison at the end of their sentences without any mandated state supervision or public services.
