Tow Youth Justice Institute
To support this Institute, part of the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences, to sustain system reforms of the past 15 years and foster continued improvements in Connecticut’s juvenile justice system. The Institute educates students, trains current policy leaders and systems professionals, researches issues and evaluates practices, provides technical support to state government, monitors and reports on system change. It promotes evidence-based practices and principles, such as restorative justice, to advance juvenile justice system reform in Connecticut that will serve as a model for the nation and result in improved outcomes for the youth involved.
