Amy Lefkof joined The Tow Foundation Board of Directors in 2013 and has served as the Board’s secretary since 2020. Outside of her work with the Foundation, Amy is a freelance writer and editor.
Amy lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she chairs the Jewish Community Refugee Initiative. She is a former board member of Temple Beth El, Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy and the McColl Center for Visual Arts. She also served as co-chair of the Shalom Park Freedom School, a summer literacy program in Charlotte affiliated with the Children’s Defense Fund. Amy received her law degree from Yale Law School and her MFA in creative writing from Queens University.
