New York Nonprofit Media names Sally Friedman, Legal Director, Legal Action Center as a Front Line Hero, recognizing her work in the field directly helping clients and making their organizations’ goals a reality through hard work and dedication. Since joining LAC in 1993, Sally and her dedicated staff have pushed back against discrimination and protected the privacy rights of thousands of individuals with substance use disorders, criminal records and HIV/AIDS.
