Nadia Alia has been promoted to a newly created position of Manager, Grants and Communications at The Tow Foundation.
She joined The Foundation in 2013 as grants manager. She will continue this work and expand her role by overseeing, implementing and executing the Foundation’s grant and communication strategies. Since joining the Foundation, Nadia has committed to streamlining the Foundation’s grant application and reporting process. She is the system administrator for the Foundation’s online grantmaking database, and is responsible for elevating the Foundation’s online presence including social media.
Nadia is a member of the Program Committee of Grants Managers Network, New York Chapter. She is also the creator of the Grants Managers Network’s blog series “The Big Picture: Finding A Perfect Grants Management System,” a series about the intersection of technology and its impact on the grants manager role.
Nadia earned a B.A. in Political Science at Pace University.
