Researchers at grantee New York Genome Center and Weill Cornell Medicine have developed a new method for revealing how gene mutations disrupt the normal packaging of DNA, which can lead to malignancy.
The new method published in Nature can benefit many fields from basic biology to uncovering the origins of cancer. Researchers demonstrated the method’s effectiveness by examining two common mutations in rare blood cancers.
